Granted there may be some foriegn players in the NFL but they have all gone to american colleges where they were drafted or invited to camps to make the teamIs Football the only True American sport left?
You do have a point but these leagues are giving other people chances to play a sport as a job. Sure there is a lot of Japs in the MLB but who cares? These sports are getting known all over the world which as gives more ';fame'; to the U.S.A. Which also increases our chances to win gold in the Oylimpics. I do have to agree with you on one thing though. Football is really the only true American sport left. Yes, there are people from different races but as you said they went to American colleges. Lets just hope the draft does not go international like what the NBA is doing.Is Football the only True American sport left?
I think so. Most of our sports have been ruined anyway. Not by importing players, but like with baseball, ruined by scandal, strikes and steroid use. It used to be an athlete was an extraordinary creature, but now you can't tell if they are because so many are hopped up on roids.

I could care less about baseball or hockey, but I'm sticking up for basketball! Foreign players still have to go through camp like everyone else. Even Yao had to prove himself before making the team.





Basketball is the true American sport! The players that don't make teams here often go overseas to play in the international league. This is the one sport originated in America. Even your precious football is just an offspring of rugby (aka the worst sport since cricket).
What are we all thinking? Have we all failed to remember Ping Pong?? How about the classic game of Marco Polo?
