i guess if ur basing your teams over a one year span then yes.


the phillies won the world series after i beleive 28 years and the penguins after 16, the eagles have never won a superbowl, the exception on that list is the steelers which have became the best football franchise (coming from a cowboys fan).





i think massachusetts is better because of the celtics, redsox and even the patriots....
At the moment, yes, it is true... it's hard to compete with 3 reigning champions.





But aside from the Steelers and their 6 Super Bowls, historically, Pennsylvania teams are good, but not the best.
California is up there, they have 8 superbowl wins between the 49ers and raiders, countless quality college teams, a recent stanley cup in the ducks and about 20 titles in both basketball and baseball.

Well the Pittsburgh teams maybe ..but being a life long Philly resident I can tell you that Philly teams are always underdog teams that have to scrap hard to get anywhere and they lose more often than they win.
NY does over the course of time although last year Penn had us beat. Boston has had some good recent years too.
