Some body said all of the super sport vehicles from chevrolet are all manuel transmission is this true?

no way, most of the 396 SS Chevelles from late 60's and early 70'd had turbohydramatic transmissionsSome body said all of the super sport vehicles from chevrolet are all manuel transmission is this true?
hell no 90 % of them are automatics. most SS cars from chevy are for old people with arthritis or someone who hasnt touched a stickshift.i would love a stick shift because you control the shift points and you work to get what you want out of that car. with an auto you only steer the damn thing and gas and brake .Some body said all of the super sport vehicles from chevrolet are all manuel transmission is this true?
No this is not true. I've seen SS camaros with Automatics, SS Monte Carlo's as well. The Cobalt SS I haven't seen in automatic but I wouldn't be surprised if they do make it auto, But why? Manual is generally more durable, as well as utilizes more of the HP %26amp; Tourqe @ the Crank. Also I belive its more fun, Im not really driving unless its Manual
So far......i haven't seen a 2007-2008 Corvette with a automatic transmition.........so i guess its true. And hopefully they will make an automatic.
Not true. However, all first and second generation Z-28s were manual trans.
Nope that is false... I also have ocean front property in Arizona if you bough into that lie

friends dad had a 1965 Impala Super Sport with a console automatic (in 1978)

roommate at Arizona Automotive Institute had his grandpas low mileage original 1966 Chevy II Super Sport also a console automatic...

spool ahead today

I know of a numbers matching 67 Chevy Caprice SS with a 396 Automatic original except low rider parts added (hydraulics)

I know where there is at present a 1982 Chevy Elcamino Super Sport automatic with a $7000.00 pearl white paint job

I also know of one of the ultra rare 1988 Chevy 454 Fuel injected pick ups in the local area
no
no it is not. not now and not in the past
As for the current model years, there is no SS Corvette, but the Z-06 is stick only. An automatic transmission, contrary to what someone else said, is available on any other vette. The supercharged Cobalt SS is only available in a stick shift, but the Malibu SS, the Impala SS, the Montecarlo SS and the Trailblazer SS are all only available in an automatic and a manual isn't an option.
No, the Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS are both automatic onlys.
No it is absolutely not true. I still own the 1970 Nova SS given to me in 1975 when I graduated high school. It was originally an automatic transmission with a power plant of 350 CI. Now however it is a 454 CI and muncie M-21. Tell your friend to read more HOT ROD.
