Is it true that Foosball is going to be an Olympic sport?

I heard that Foosball will be an official sport at the 2008 Olympics in China. Is this true? Is this fair to the other athletes? What is the capital of Wisconsin?Is it true that Foosball is going to be an Olympic sport?
Foosball would be a class addition to the Olympics. Foosball manufacturers would want to be new sponsors. It is a sport more people can play, and in the comfort of indoor air conditioning. The capital of Wisconsin is Madison.Is it true that Foosball is going to be an Olympic sport?

No that's not true there's going to be the same 28 sports for the 2008 Olympics that where in the 2004 Olympics. The only table game is Table-Tennis (ping-pong). Take a look at the list.

Foosball isn't even a recognized sport like- Billiard Sports, Bowling, or even Chess and Bridge. In fact no new sports can be added to the Summer Games until 2016.





What will be new in the 2008 Olympics is disciplines like Open Water Swimming (Aquatics) and BMX biking (Cycling).
