My brother recently purchased a 1984 El Camino and i want to find out how can i tell if its a true super sport. It has a decal in the back that says super sport but it just looks like a decal someone just put there.How can i find out if my 1984 El Camino Is a True Super Sport?
The SS has a different front end on it with a rubber, molded in bumper, bucket seats, console etc.. If it has all this, it's probably legit, but google el camino to see if there are any clubs out there, and you will be able to find the info you need.

just take the vin # and go to the dealer and have them tell you, they can tell you everything you want to know with the vin#
