I am doing an assignment and i need to know what every one thinks.
we all know that the statement is totally untrue any way but i need every one's opion on the statement expesialy girls. i dont like the state ment but i have to do it so please help me.';sport isn't for women, it's for men'; is this true??
stupid outdated form of dissrespect . still the male ego wants to foolow this myth . thier fragile egos can not stand , being beaten , or outclassed by a woman . women a smarter , more grceful . higher pain threhold . any male who denies this has failed at sports and will fail at life . women desrve thier own sports network . but bigotry amongst networks wont allow this to happen . total male ego thing . myth not fact . just another reson to continue to dissrerspect women .';sport isn't for women, it's for men'; is this true??
so not true. but people(men) make it seem that way becuz there arent that many sports that are like natikonal like football or baseball. you never see pro softball or pro feild hockey or w/e.
girls can do just sports just as well as guys can, we can be just as tough,aggresive,and competetive.but since todays society is sexist and all its only good if guys are playing it, but if girls are playin the exact same sports its not good. sports is merely away to meet people,have fun,and learn about life. and quite frankly thats for men AND women. but it will be awhile till the world sees that and with men thinking that their the top dog and all that may never happen, but us girls continue to play sports cuz its fun and maybe thats just what we need to do
Sport is good for both sexes, it's healthy and makes you look better. Not very surprising, but that's my opinion.
It used to be but, not anymore. It was unlady-like and undignified for a female to do anything that would make her sweat.

I need some good opinions from true sports fans?
i'm 15 years old and i really want to become a famous sports writer some day. i recently wrote this article about the western conference nba playoff situation for my friends amatuer up-and-coming sports website can i get some people to read this article and give me your advice or what ytou think of it? i really appreciate it.
the link down low takes u to my page, it's a website we're working hard on in order to make a reliable source. we have some good baseball rankings up, but right now it's under construction.

It sounds to me like perhaps you want to become a columnist, rather than a reporter who simply reports the results on a game-by-game basis...which is good...most papers simply copy the AP summaries of games anyway, except for their local teams.
I think the main thing you should work on is your sentence structure. Don't get me wrong, you write very well! A few sentences here and there seemed a little awkward, but overall, you did an excellent job. I think you're writing career is off to an excellent start.
Continue to work on your grammar and sentence structure (maybe you could get a good English teacher in your school to go over your work with you). Maybe he or she could ';grade'; your work in the same manner as they would a regular schoolwork assignment, and help you with phrasing your sentences a little more succinctly.
But at 15, I think you're well on your way to being an outstanding sportswriter... you obviously keep up with the game extremely well, so the rest of it is just getting the sentences down in the correct way. But overall, very, very good articles.

the phillies won the world series after i beleive 28 years and the penguins after 16, the eagles have never won a superbowl, the exception on that list is the steelers which have became the best football franchise (coming from a cowboys fan).
i think massachusetts is better because of the celtics, redsox and even the patriots....
At the moment, yes, it is true... it's hard to compete with 3 reigning champions.
But aside from the Steelers and their 6 Super Bowls, historically, Pennsylvania teams are good, but not the best.
California is up there, they have 8 superbowl wins between the 49ers and raiders, countless quality college teams, a recent stanley cup in the ducks and about 20 titles in both basketball and baseball.

I believe they deserved to win the champions league because they played really good and they were not in a rush to score. When they did score they tried their best to retain the ball and they did.
