Is is true that swimming is the best sport to practice?

Meaning its good almost for every part of your body?Is is true that swimming is the best sport to practice?
I think so. To swim, you need to use all of your muscles and, depending on what stroke you do, it can be a really good excercise for certain muscles. Also, there are lots of differant levels of swimming that will challenge you more as you learn.Is is true that swimming is the best sport to practice?
it is very healthy although recent researchers found it to be problematic in some places because of hich chloride levels in the water.
I loved to swim and it probably tones every muscle in your body. But friends told me it also creates a voracious appetite and fat is a tone of another color. I believe that brisk walking may be best for many people because it tones muscles you must use every day (to walk) rather that all the muscles you will need if you fall off a boat far from shore. Also places you can walk are many and free while pools may be few and cost more. Walking briskly perhaps 30 minutes a day will help maintain tone and longer walks from time to time will help burn off unwanted calories. Swimming is great recreation and when added to walking may help keep you happy and fit. Good luck.

i am a highly competitive swimmer and doing this has resulted in multiple injuries


if you swim recreationaly, it is a very good excersise helping you build your cardiovascular system and muscles but once you turn competitive, the seriousness level turns very high and you are very prone to injuries

No. Soccer is the best sport to practice. it builds up a lot of endurance and muscle tone. Some people say soccer is also the most physically demanding sport.
I believe that too... It gets moving every muscle you have... Legs, arms, shoulders, neck, abs, intercostals...


And you can work different groups of muscles by swimming in different styles, like butterfly, bras or any other...

YES BUT ITS BORING IT GOOD BECAUSE IT IS A NOT IMPACT SPORT BUT IT MAKES THE MUSCLES IN YOUR SHOULDERS LOOK VERY BROAD FROM ALL OF THE SWIMMING IF YOU BECOME GOOD AT IT BUT TYPIALLY YES IT IS VERY GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH....
