Is gymnastics a true sport?

i do gymnastics(8 years) and i think it is but some people say it isn'tIs gymnastics a true sport?
Have those who stated that gymnastics is not a sport ever tried it? You will always find '; naysayers'; who poo-poo everything that they don't understand, or activities where they have no talent. That is the immaturity of many so ignore them for they know no better.Is gymnastics a true sport?
i think its a sport!! i think its harder than all those other sports like baseball basketball and football. gymnasts train harder than a lot of other athletes!!


if anyone tells u that again then just show em what you can do and then tell them to say it again!!
yes it is definitely a sport. :) anyone who says it`s not a sport is jealous of what we can do. :) i`ve been a gymnast since i was 4 and i`m now 15. :) gymnastics is the best sport out there. :)
Anyone who says it isn't can't do it.
it is SO a sport! I just started recently and I'm much more in shape than I used to be!
Yepp... why else would it be in the olympics?
